A barn party and the state fair

The Greens make Woodcrest farm available for a group of environmental students from the local university to have their annual barn-party.
Cleaning the barn was really hard work, but wow! How very satisfactory when it was all ready!
We had hay rides (done by Russell) a whole pig-barbeque, old-school games, pumpkin carving, dancing and a big bonfire. Unfortunately our camera stopped working after a while, so I didn’t get any of the night shots!

Three-legged races

Wheel-barrow races...Russell and Jerry won!

On Sunday we went to our first State fair. Very interesting..although it was very crowded!

Here follows some pictures to describe the scene…

Me and my giant turkey leg...wish I could have worn a medieval dress for this shot!

Interesting combinations of advertising...
