Hello. I (Russell) created this blog in the car, driving on the N7 on the way to the SA-Nam border (don't worry Elsje's driving - see picture). I was actually checking emails and stuff and decided to knock up a blog quickly. We weren't going to do this, but at the last minute I thought 'screw it' and did it anyway. It's pretty cool to create a blog in a car, driving through the countryside, and also a handy way to use up the last of the data cap.
We're about 40km from Piketberg on a beautiful and surprisingly warm winter's day. Elsje is driving like a demon in typical Namibian style, softly punctuating the drone of the engine with intermittent singing and swearing (if you can believe that - just look at her face again). She can't read or comment on this at the moment so I can write what I like.
Ja, so we'll keep you all posted. See you in about five or six days, hopefully with piccies.
We're off to see the wizard, to meet the monk...
